Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu
Jiu-Jitsu means "Gentle Art" or "Gentle Combat". This "Gentle" part refers to the fact that in Jiu-Jitsu, you do not need to bludgeon or kill your opponent. You instead learn how to submit them or render them unconscious with a choke. This program prepares students for tournaments and self-protection alike. Ages 10 and up are welcome.
Learn how to take people to the ground escape from the ground, to move on the ground, and how to win conflicts will minimal energy all while getting in fantastic shape!
Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu focuses on grappling and can often give a smaller or weaker person an advantage!
This class is under the direction of Jeff French. Jeff is a purple belt in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. Jeff is not only skilled at what he does but he is also a master of finding new ways to utilize everyday techniques, fine-tune them into a better version and link them together. Though only a purple belt, he is an incredible instructor. Jeff has been training since 2007. Jeff is also a 3rd-degree black belt in Chun Tu Moo Sool and a certified instructor. Jeff is also a 1st-degree black belt in the U.S. Central Hapkido Association under Grandmaster Won in Dell City, Ok.
